Chris "Jake" Jacobsen

I have been involved with SharePoint since the original SPS 2001, initially as a Quality Assurance engineer. At Groove Networks we were working with clients to synchronize their data in SharePoint using the Groove API. That project was well ahead of it’s time, as it turned out, since the Groove Product evolved from a standalone P2P application to SharePoint Workspace. The next few years I spent developing both straight ASP.Net web applications and SharePoint Web Parts for the IT department at American Tower Corporation on both SharePoint 2003 and MOSS 2007. I learned a great deal during my time there working on SharePoint projects. Since then I have been a SharePoint consultant for several companies doing SharePoint design / development / administration (UI and Powershell). I have been working with SharePoint Server 2010, 2013, 2016, SharePoint Online (o365) while keeping up with the latest Microsoft Technologies. For excitement, I’ve been playing with mobile app development using Xamarin and Salesforce Development using VisualForce, Apex, SLDS.
